LULAC will conduct a policy summit with Members of Congress, their
staff and Hispanic leaders on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 to
address three of our policy priorities for 2008.
A panel of experts will be discussing
1) Moving Towards Universal Healthcare
2) Hate crimes surrounding the immigration movement and
3) Election 2008: The Role of Hispanics
A luncheon focused on Civic
Engagement is scheduled following the briefing.
After the lunch attendees will be invited to participate
in Congressional visits.
