Resolution - : FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF US ATTONERY’S, JUDGES, AND MARSHALLS IN THE USA BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

WHEREAS, LULAC is our nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization addressing education, employment and civil rights issues in the United States of America since 1929; and

WHEREAS, the Administration and the Senate have not moved to fill the vacancies at the federal level in the Judiciary, US Attorney’s Office and Marshalls’ Office in the USA; and

WHEREAS, LULAC implore the Senate and the Obama Administration to more expeditionary to free these additional vacancies in the Judiciary, US Attorney’s Office, and Marshall’s Office; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the League of United Latin American Citizens will continue to fully and actively support that the Obama Administration and the Senate appoint Latino federal judges, US Attorney’s, and US Marshall’s to represent the Hispanic population ratio in the USA.
