Media Advisory: LULAC and Tyson Foods Join Forces to Fight Hunger in Boston.

15 tons of protein donated to The Greater Boston Food Bank.

WHAT:

An association between Tyson Foods and LULAC will donate more than 15 tons of much needed protein to The Greater Boston Food Bank, as part of its 1 million pound, three-year commitment to fight hunger together.

WHO:

Representatives of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Tyson Foods, The Greater Boston Food Bank and Sen. Sonia Chang-Diaz will be available for photo opportunities. LULAC and community leaders scheduled to attend include LULAC National President Rosa Rosales, LULAC VP of Women Regla Gonzalez, LULAC VP for the Northeast Toula Politis Lugo, Tyson Director of Federal Government Relations Nora Venegas and Carol Tienken, CEO of The Greater Boston Food Bank.
